The Flutopia Initiative

The Flutopia Falala is the first musical charity event The Flutopia Initiative organized, in December of 2012. The Flutopia Falala has been collecting monetary and canned good donations for the local Food Bank at each concert every December since then.  Hosted annually by State College, PA's Robert M. Sides Family Music Center, composer and trumpet player David Morris' jazz piece "Play It Forward, written specifically for the event, was premiered at that first concert. A version of "Play It Forward" is performed at the end of every Flutopia Initiative event.
